Getting Started
What is V3SIM?
V3SIM is a virtual phone number service for receiving SMS verification codes online. You can use our numbers to register and verify accounts on 1,000+ websites and apps — without using your real phone number.
How do I get started?
1. Create a free account
2. Top up your balance from the payment page
3. On the home page, select a service (e.g. WhatsApp), select a country, and buy a number
4. Use the number on the site/app to receive the SMS code
5. The code will appear automatically on your V3SIM dashboard
Do I need a SIM card or phone?
No. V3SIM is entirely online. You only need an internet connection and a V3SIM account. No physical SIM card, no phone required.
Numbers & SMS
How long is a number valid?
Each number is held for 20 minutes after purchase. If no SMS is received within that time, the order automatically cancels and you are refunded. You can also manually cancel an order before it expires.
What does "Any operator" mean?
"Any operator" means the system will automatically assign the best available number from any mobile operator (MTS, Beeline, Virtual, etc.) for your chosen country. If you need a specific operator, select it from the operator list when available.
What if I don't receive an SMS?
If no SMS arrives within 20 minutes the order will auto-cancel and your balance will be refunded. You can also click Cancel manually at any time before the timer expires to get a refund immediately.
Can I receive multiple SMS on one number?
Some operators support multiple SMS deliveries. When the operator shows >1 SMS, you can receive more than one message on that number within the active window.
Payments & Balance
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept:
• Paystack — Debit/Credit card, Bank Transfer, USSD (Nigeria)
• Korapay — Card and Bank Transfer (Nigeria)
• Crypto — USDT (TRC20, BEP20, ERC20), TON, BTC, ETH (International)
What is the minimum top-up amount?
The minimum deposit is $0.50 for card/bank payments. For crypto, minimum amounts vary by coin (USDT TRC20 is recommended for lowest fees).
How do refunds work?
Refunds go back to your V3SIM wallet balance instantly when an order is cancelled or expires without an SMS. Wallet balance can be used for future purchases. We do not refund to the original payment method unless required by our Refund Policy.
Account & Security
How do I enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)?
Go to Settings → General and click Enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy, then enter the 6-digit code to confirm. 2FA adds an extra layer of security to your account.
Can I use V3SIM via API?
Yes. V3SIM has a full REST API compatible with the 5sim API format. Get your API key from Settings → API, then read the API Documentation.
